Information reaching OluFamous.Com from
the Aso Rock Presidential Villa and the NNPC head office in Abuja are
pretty sensational. Credible source have confirmed that all of the Group
Executive Directors (GEDs) in the Nigerian National Petroleum
Corporation, NNPC, have been sacked effective immediately.
This development comes just one day after President Muhammadi Buhari said the GMD and appointed a more competent man, Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, as the Group Managing Director.
In fact, GMD Kachikwu has been directed to reduce the number of GEDs from nine to four.
According to Sahara Reporters, the GEDs fired are: Mr. Ian Udoh (Refining and Petrochemicals), Adebayo Ibirogba (Engineering and Technical), Dr. David Ige (Gas and Power), Dr. Attahir Yusuf (Business Development), Dr. Dan Efebo (Corporate Services), Mr. Bernard Otti (Finance and Accounts), Ms. Aisha Abdurrahman (Commerce and Investments), and Joseph Dawha (Exploration and Production).
All the sacked GEDs were appointed by Goodluck Jonathan in March, 2014.
