Guinness sets to give out N1million every week in the Every Minute Made of Black Campaign


Baytown Lounge Abuja came alive on Saturday as Guinness treated football lovers to a thrilling match day Made of Black experience as they watched the Chelsea/Liverpool match. Before the game began, Guinness encouraged all the fans present to predict the final score of the game and win prizes from Guinness. 



Just when Guinness was about to reward the winners, Phyno threw in a big surprise, he decided to give the winner a whopping N500, 000, and the atmosphere was super charged; as if that wasn’t enough, Olamide decided to support his friend and fellow ‘Made of Black’ ambassador and doubled the money to N1 million.

Dare Olugbodi was announced as the winner and could not hide his joy as he realised that he has suddenly became a millionaire.

Now this is the bigger gist! Guinness will be giving out a whooping N1, 000,000 to a lucky winner every week in November plus airtime to everyone who plays! All these in addition to the existing weekly prizes; it’s definitely going to be a November to Remember with the Guinness BPL promotion!

Customs name 6 Deputy Comptroller Generals and 8 Assistant Comptroller General

        The Comptroller-General of Customs, Col. Hameed Ali (Rtd) has approved the appointment of Six (6) acting Deputy Comptrollers-General of Customs in the on-going re-organisation in the Service. The appointments come after 35 other top executives were retired last week.

A statement by Nigeria Custom's spokesperson, Wale Adeniyi, said the six (6) Officers, who are of the rank of Assistant Comptroller-General, will occupy the positions of Deputy-Comptrollers-General in acting capacity. Those appointed are:

 I. ACG Idris Suleiman (Finance Administration and Technical Service)
II. ACG Iya Umar (Tariff and Trade)
III. ACG Dan Ugo (Enforcement Investigation and Inspection)
IV. ACG Grace Adeyemo (Excise, FTZ & Industrial Incentive)
V. ACG Austin Warikoru (Human Resource Development)
VI. ACG Paul Ukaigwe (Strategic Research and Policy)

He added that the Eight (8) Assistant Comptroller Generals approved include
I. Comptroller Umar Sanusi mni (ACG Headquarters)
II. Comptroller Funsho Adegoke (ACG ICT)
III. Comptroller Mohammed Abbas mni (ACG Board)
IV. Comptroller Olatunji Aremu mni (Command & Staff College)
V. Comptroller Charles Edike (Zonal Coordinator Zone ‘A’)
VI. Comptroller Abubakar Dangaladima (Zonal Coordinator Zone ‘B’)
VII. Comptroller Azarema Abdulkadir (Zonal Coordinator Zone ‘C’)
VIII. Comptroller Chidi Augustine (Zonal Coordinator Zone ‘D’)

He went further to add that the Changes take immediate effect.
