According
to the tradition in Ife, when a new Ooni is about to be crowned,
spiritual leaders from the two major religions in Nigeria are called
upon to pray and bless the new Ooni days before his coronation. He is to
worship with pastors and Imams so as to get their Blessings..
Yesterday,the
Ooni elect of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi who would be officially
crowned tomorrow Monday December 7,2015,attended a Mosque service where
lots of imams prayed and blessed him, and today, the Young Monarch
attended a Church service adjacent his palace where Pastor Kumuyi and
other anointed men of God attended to pray and bless the in-coming 51st
Oba of Ile-ife.
