Maybe it's time to pack up, Tiger? The Golf legend had a really bad start on Thursday, June 18 during the first round of the 115th U.S. Open. And while attempting to redeem himself on the course, a plane flew overhead with a banner that read 'cheater.' Not nice!

On top of that, he got stuck in the rough on the eighth hole, and his club went flying into the air after he struck the ball. Golf fans didn’t help the situation. See the photos and how they mocked him after the cut...

Photo: Girl allegedly duped inside banking hall in Lagos

The girl pictured above and identified as Ruqayyat said she was duped of N14,000 inside a banking hall in Lagos on Wednesday June 17th. According to her story, she said she went into a banking hall along Opebi road, Lagos to pay N14, 000 when she was approached by a man dressed in a suit pretending to be working at the bank.

She said the man asked her to give him the money she wanted to deposit and her filled deposit slip so he can facilitate the process quickly. She said the man also asked her if she had filled her bank verification number BVN form which ends this month. When she replied no, the man gave her a form to fill and then proceeded to help her pay her money at the teller point.

Done with filling the BVN form, Ruqayatt said she looked up to give the man the form and also find out if he'd paid her money but he was no where in the banking hall.

Realizing what happened, Ruqayyat began crying. She said the money was meant for her boss who she'd just started working with less than two weeks ago

"The money belongs to my boss. I have just been employed two weeks ago and I don’t know where to get a refund for her,” she said sobbingly. Many bank customers were in disbelief about Rukayat’s story, while a bank security guard ordered her out of the hall" - she told Newsbreak

Bauchi govt seize 22 vehicles from wives of immediate past governor, Isa Yuguda

A total of 22 cars have allegedly been recovered from the wives of the immediate past governor of Bauchi state, Isa Yuguda, by the transition committee set up by the state's new governor, Mohammed Abubakar.

Chairman of the transition committee, Senator Mohammed Mohammed made this known while addressing newsmen at the State Government House in Bauchi yesterday June 18th.

"We have so far, recovered a total of 22 cars from the wives of the former Governor, Isa Yuguda. We recovered 11 cars from his first wife, seven from the second wife and four from the third wife.
We are yet to recover the remaining cars from his fourth wife who is currently out of the country. We will ensure that whoever is in possession of government properties will be forced to return them. We urge public servants and the general public, especially those involved in the disposal and allocation of the property in question to cooperate with the committee for the effective discharge of its assignment.”he said

3 weeks of Buhari’s govt & he's done what PDP could not do in 6yrs - APC

Funny statement! The APC says President Buhari has done in three weeks what the PDP government under Jonathan administration could not do in the 6 years they were in power. The party stated this in a statement signed and released by its National publicity secretary Lai Mohammed. Read below...

"Within three weeks of President Buhari’s inauguration, he had done what the PDP government could not do in six years: Invigorate the fight against Boko Haram by rallying a regional and global front against the terror group. Today, the US has pledged to give $5 million for the fight against Boko Haram, in addition to other material support. This is apart from the support that has been pledged by the G-7 for Nigeria’s efforts to quell the insurgency.

Thanks to President Buhari’s shuttle diplomacy, the Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF) that the PDP government could not bring together for all of six years is ready to deploy next month, while the President has ordered the release of $21 million to facilitate the establishment of the headquarters of the force in N’Djamena, Chad. Since assuming office about three weeks ago, President Buhari has visited Chad, Niger, Germany and South Africa, winning support and friends for Nigeria all over again and returning the country to the comity of respected nations.

Those who were put off by the PDP government’s resort to politicizing the fight against Boko Haram – even as the insurgents grew stronger – are now joining President Buhari to battle the terrorists. In no distant future, the results of his tireless efforts will begin to show.

On the domestic front, President Buhari has been handling pressing issues far away from the klieg light, and his efforts to assembly a first class team to implement his change mantra, which he is personally driving, are continuing apace.

We in the APC, and we are sure most unbiased Nigerians, are very proud of President Buhari and the vigour he has shown in governance, the kind of vigour we did not see in the immediate past administration that was presided over by a far younger man”.
