Beyonce’s Gorgeous Cousin Has The Internet Thirsty AF

Beyonce’s Gorgeous Cousin Has The Internet Thirsty AF

Beyonce and Jay-Z attended her uncle Skip Beyince’s funeral over the weekend in Texas, and while pictures of the superstar and her extended family made the rounds on social media, the Internet’s attention was drawn to Bey’s cousin, Kristin Douglas.
The nurse and mother of two posted a picture of her and her stunning cousin and sister in their Sunday best. Kristin turned heads in a blue wrap dress, and showed that gorgeous genes run in the family.
The Internet’s thirst levels were understandably on 10, and someone noted on Twitter that Douglas’ Instagram follow count has significantly increased since the picture made the rounds.
Not that I’m stalking or anything, but Beyonce’s highly blessed cousin had 2,000 followers yesterday.

7 Ex-Governors To Lose $200bn Looted and Kept In Dubai

*Buhari Sends EFCC Chairman, Minister of Justice To Get Back Our Money
At last, all appears set for the repatriation of over $200billion stashed away by some former governors, ex-ministers and other former public officers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Some mansions belonging to some Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and their cronies or fronts may also be seized, a well informed source revealed.

In hiding for stashing away cash or acquiring properties in the UAE are seven former governors, six former ministers, a fleeing presidential aide implicated in the $2.1billion arms deals, ex-military chiefs under probe, agents/fronts of some of these public officers and five chieftains of PDP.

A Presidency team, comprising Minister of Justice and Attorney-General, Mr. Abubakar Malami, Chairman of the EFCC, Mr. Ibrahim Magu and crack detectives from the anti-graft agency, have started comparing collated intelligence notes on the PEPs with their UAE counterparts.

The EFCC officials arrived in Dubai on Saturday. The Minister left Abuja yesterday to join the team.

According to The Nation, it was learnt that the AGF had barely returned from an official assignment when an urgent travel arrangement was made for him.

The delegation went to UAE in line with an agreement with the Federal Government.

President Muhammadu Buhari in January signed a “Judicial Agreement on Extradition, Transfer of Sentenced Persons, Mutual Legal Assistance on Criminal Matters, and Mutual Legal Assistance on Criminal and Commercial Matters, which includes the recovery and repatriation of stolen wealth”.

A top source, who spoke in confidence, said: “The Federal Government team has met with those from the UAE on intelligence sharing, the list of those on EFCC radar, the number of highly-placed Nigerians with fat accounts in UAE and those with choice properties in Marina (Dubai), Bur Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha.

”Some of the former governors include one from the South-South, two from Northcentral, two from the Northeast, one from the Northwest, and one from the Southwest.

“A former-governor had made botched attempts to transfer about $517million loot to Dominican Republic because UAE law is now strict.

“More than six ex-ministers and a former presidential aide, who is on the run over the $2.1billion arms deals, were said to have acquired choice mansions and malls in UAE. One of the former ministers, who was alleged to own two houses in Dubai, was said to have served as a front for a former First Lady.

“Another ex-minister had bought some malls through a few cronies in Dubai. The list of such agents is being screened.

“Certainly, the anti-graft agency has tightened the noose on these former public officers and there is no hiding place for them.

“The success of the collaboration between the Federal Government team and the UAE Government will determine when EFCC will release the concessions on some of these PEPs. Very soon, we will unveil these ex-political office holders.”

According to sources, the government delegation discovered that many highly-placed Nigerians, including some ex-governors and money laundering fronts, have fled from Dubai to Singapore, Casablanca in Morocco, Dominican Republic and some islands in the UK and in the Caribbean.

Another source said: “From the trip so far, many big Nigerians have already ran away from Dubai to escape being arrested by the UAE authorities.

“Some of the ex-governors have also avoided visiting UAE until the coast is clear. They do not want to experience the same fate like ex-Governor James Ibori.

“The frequency at which highly-placed Nigerians fly to Dubai for parties has considerably reduced because they are under watch by the UAE authorities."

A source in the government said: “Yes, the AGF and the EFCC chairman with some top officials of the anti-graft agency are in Dubai for a follow-up technical session on the Mutual Legal Assistance between Nigeria and the UAE.

“I can confirm the official trip and it is meant to recover looted funds.”

Woman Beaten Mercilessly by Soldiers, Now Hospitalized

Some soldiers on Monday assaulted a married woman, Joy Agboghide, for allegedly obstructing traffic on Forestry Lane in Benin City, Edo State.

The incident occurred at 4pm in front of the headquarters of the Benin Electricity Distribution Company. It was learnt that an officer, a Major, was said to have emerged from the premises of the company and instructed the woman to reverse her vehicle in order to ease traffic on the narrow road.

Sources said Agboghide, a mother of six, however, explained that she had initially allowed about five vehicles to go due to the indiscriminate parking of vehicles on the road.

An argument was said to have ensued between the soldier and the 51-year-old woman, after the army officer insisted that she must reverse her vehicle.

The major, who was said to have been angered by the development, returned to the BEDC premises.

The source said he later returned with some soldiers said to be attached to the BEDC and allegedly ordered them to beat the woman up.

She was said to have been rushed to the Central Hospital in Benin where was receiving treatment as of the time of filing this report.

Joy Agboghide, who later spoke to Punch, said, “I went to Lagos Street to get some food items. So, I passed through Forestry (Lane) to the road beside former NEPA. As I was going, the driver of the vehicle in front of me and some traders around told me to stop. I stopped and about four vehicles passed. Later, the traders told me to go.

“As I moved on, a soldier told me to reverse and I explained that I had waited for some vehicles to pass. But he said, ‘Do you know who you are talking to? Reverse!’ Before I knew it, he used his gun to hit my windscreen.

“I came out and asked him what I had done and he said I should wait. He went into the BEDC premises and came out with some soldiers who descended on me.

“He said they should clear me off the road. But as he tried to enter his vehicle, I pulled him and told him to pay for the damage done to my car.”

She alleged that she was also assaulted by a woman said to the wife of the officer.

She added that, “As the man jumped inside his vehicle and tried to drive off, I hit his windscreen. He came down and damaged my windscreen and the rear screen.

“Suddenly, he came out with a whip and beat me. The lady inside the vehicle also sprayed tear gas into my eyes.”

Spokesman for the 4 Brigade Command of the Nigerian Army, Captain Jonah Unuakhalu, said the officer involved was not in the Army. “He is a Nigerian Air Force officer. But we are investigating.”

NYSC Member Working for INEC in Rivers State Killed

INEC’s Resident Electoral Commissioner in Rivers State, Mr Aniedi Ikoiwak, has confirmed that the electoral officer for Ikwerre who was earlier declared missing during the Rivers rerun election has been found alive.

Mr Osifo Osaze is reported to have been attacked by gunmen who opened fire on his vehicle but he managed to escape his assailants into the bush.

The REC told Channels that Mr Osaze was found with bullet wounds and has been taken to hospital.
Sadly, a Youth Corps member working as ad hoc INEC official was killed during violence at a polling unit in Ahoada West area.

Mr Ikoiwak said that further announcements on the polls will be made in due course.

INEC had suspended further activities in the Rivers State rerun elections following the violent incidents that trailed the conduct of the polls.

The case of Rivers State is really becoming something else, with guns in the hands of youths who use it anyhow for their political godfathers and in open show of force against innocent citizens.

Rivers Election: PDP Says Buhari Planning To Declare State of Emergency

The People Democratic Party, PDP, has claimed that President Buhari has summoned an emergency meeting over the tension which trailed the rerun elections in River State.

In a statement issued by PDP on its official Twitter handle, the party alleged that the meeting called by Buhari is to prepare grounds for a declaration of a State of Emergency in Rivers.

Some of the tweets by PDP reads:
President Buhari in a meeting at the Aso Rock over #RiversReRun. The ground is now been prepared for the declaration of state of Emergency.
Senate Majority Leader, Ali Ndume, Femi Gbajabiamila and 20 APC Senators & 60 Reps have just been summoned to the ongoing meeting.
Sources say the situation in some areas was so bad that INEC officials were reportedly scared of stepping out of their offices to conduct the election due to threats from persons wearing fake military uniform.

We really need to take away the money that politicians are sharing, to stop them from killing for power.
