APC WINS KOGI ELECTION: Prince Audu Beats Gov Wada

Prince Audu Abubakar, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has defeated incumbent governor of Kogi State, Captain Idris Wada, of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The results show that Audu took the lead in majority of the 21 local governments in the state, including edging Wada in several local government areas considered the incumbent governor’s stronghold.

The APC candidate defeated the PDP flag-bearer and incumbent governor, Wada in 16 of the 21 LGAs.

Areas won by APC's Prince Audu are:

Ofu, Ida, Kabba Bunu, Yagba East, Yagba West, Adavi, Koton Karfi, Ankpa, Okehi, Ajaokuta, Ijumun, Olamaboro, Igalamela, Bassa, Lokoja, etc.

Wada won in 5 areas: Ogori Mangogo, Omala, Okene, Dekina and Mopa-moro local governments.

APC's Audu scored 240,867 to defeat PDP's Wada who scored 205,977.

Dangote not at the Mali Radisson Blu hotel attacked by gunmen

There were rumours that Al Jazeera reported that Aliko Dangote was at the Radisson Blu hotel in Mali when it was attacked by gunmen. Dangote just took to his twitter handle to refute the claims that he is among the 170 hostages. He was in Mali yesterday but has since returned to Nigeria..

Movie producer Elvis Chucks robbed in Lagos last night

Movie Producer Elvis Chucks was robbed at Ilupeju, Lagos last night November 19th. According to him, he was heading home at about 9pm yesterday after he finished production for the day at a movie location when he and two others in his Hummer SUV were attacked by 8 armed men, who double crossed his  SUV at the Ilupeju town planning bridge heading to Third mainland bridge where he had stopped to drop off someone.

 

The men robbed him of his phones, his Apple watch which he said he was wearing for the first time, 4.5D Canon Cameras, iPhone s6 .6lenses and a Samsung S6. He said after several failed attempts to move his Hummer jeep, the robbers moved him and the occupants into their own vehicle and drove them to an ATM machine at Cele along Mile 2 Badagry express way where he was forced to withdraw N150,000 from his account. They took the money from him and then drove off. thankfully, no one was injured.

Dangote Truck runs into cars, burst into flames in Asaba, many feared dead

A Dangote trailer collided with several cars along the Asaba-Onitsha expressway and went up in flames this afternoon in Asaba. Many people are feared dead in the accident. Mr. Praise Ismail Onye and Mr. Azubike Onyejegbu who both hail from Oba Idemili South LGA, in Anambra, have been declared "Wanted" by The Nigerian Police Force, for the murder of Mrs. Nkechi Onyejegbu. The incident happened on Friday 6th, November 2015, in her house shortly after she came back from an event she attended with her husband. The two younger brothers of her husband used cutlass and other weapons to attack her.
