Photo: Woman gives birth to a set of septuplets


The woman in the central city of Zlitin gave birth to a set of septuplets in Zlitin Hospital, Libya. The Deputy Manager of the hospital Osama Al-Sari said that the septuplets are 6 boys and a girl weighing between 400 to 1100 grams, pointing out that the delivery surgery was carried out by three gynaecologists and one paediatrician.


"The seven infants are in relatively unstable health conditions up until now because the equipment in the hospital cannot assist such cases, yet the mother’s health condition is very good." Al-Sari added.

Four female suicide bombers die in failed attack in Maiduguri

             

                             
Four suicide bombers lost their lives while attempting to attack a Military checkpoint in Maiduguri, Borno state today October 25th. Eyewitnesses say the suicide bombers, all female, were approaching the military checkpoint when the bomb strapped on them detonated before they got to their target point. Their remains have been deposited at the Specialist Hospital in Maiduguri.

Wayne Rooney suffers bloody injury on his 30th birthday (photos)


Today is Wayne Rooney's birthday (30) but opponents don't care. He cut his scalp in a clash of heads with Manchester City's captain, Vincent Kompany. Referee Mark Clattenburg ordered him off the pitch with blood gushing from the cut down the side of his head and on to his neck. Cristiano Ronaldo gives young disabled fan something to be happy about


Cristiano Ronaldo made a young fan's day when he posed for a picture with him and signed his shirt. Ronaldo and his team mates were on their way to a game and as is customary, fans and the press waited by the team bus to catch a glimpse of their stars. One lucky fan who was in a wheel chair caught Ronaldo's eye and he broke from the team to specially acknowledge the kid amidst cheers. Other lucky fans had their shirt signed by the superstar too. Obasanjo confirms he suffered an issue with his car yesterday, says he is hale and hearty


The former president has released a statement confirming that his car had an issue yesterday while traveling from Abeokuta to Lagos. In the statement signed by his press secretary, Vitalis Ortese, Obasanjo said the Tyre of the car he was traveling in burst while it was on top speed and then made a 180 degree spin until it halted facing oncoming traffic.
