Nigerian woman who laundered stolen student cash ordered to pay back almost £630k

Ruth Smith-Ajala, who helped defraud hundreds of UK students online has been ordered to pay back almost £630,000 after admitting she made £1.2million from her crimes. On Monday, September 14, the Old Bailey heard how the 46-year-old Nigerian National was jailed in December 2013 for her part in conning students out of more than £1.5m.

Students were sent emails inviting them to update details on their student loan account via a link to a bogus website. When the site was accessed by the unsuspecting victims, a cyber crime gang gained unauthorised access to their bank accounts, stealing large amounts of money.

Smith-Ajala used her share of the cash to buy products in the UK, which she then shipped out for sale at a wholesaler in Lagos, Nigeria, that she owns. During her trial, Smith-Ajala tried to convince the court that she was running a legitimate business but she was ultimately found guilty of conspiracy to launder money and mortgage fraud.

The mortgage fraud related to seven houses that Smith-Ajala was renting out in Gravesend, Northfleet and Chatam, in Kent; Grays, in Essex; and Catford, in London.

In conjunction with the investigation, specialist detectives from the Met’s Central Criminal Finance Team (CFT) launched a financial investigation. They and the Crown Prosecution Service obtained a restraint order for the properties and Smith-Ajala’s banks accounts were frozen, prohibiting her from selling the houses and hiding the money.

As a result of the confiscation proceedings, Smith-Ajala will now have to sell the houses, using the profits and rent money to pay the confiscation sum. Detective Inspector Pete Ward, of the Met’s Central Criminal Finance Team, said:
"We won’t stop at seeing criminals convicted for their crimes - we will also make them pay back the money they have taken from their victims."
"It is ironic that Smith-Ajala helped defraud hundreds of students while paying for one of her own children to be privately educated."

"She has just three months to pay back the money she obtained, or face a further five years in prison. If she doesn’t pay the money by the time she is out of prison, the order will remain and her finances will be scrutinized to ensure she continues to pay up." He added.

Is Tupac still alive? Retired police officer claims he was PAID to help rapper fake his death

Tupac Shakur
A retired police officer has hinted that Tupac might still be alive.
David Myers, who is in a critical medical condition in hospital, claims he was paid $1.5 million to help the star fake his own death.
Tupac Shakur, or 2Pac as he was known on stage, died after he was hit in a drive-by shooting back in 1996 when he was just 25.
But Myers says he now wants the world to know the truth and from his death bed – he said: “The world needs to know what I did. I’m ashamed that I let a price be put on my word and I cannot die without letting the world know.”

He claims Suge knew what was going on

He claims Suge Knight, who is currently in jail awaiting trial for murder, played a big part in helping it happen.
Over 30 people were reportedly paid to help fake his death – including police, medics and various witnesses.
Myers even claims 2Pac paid $50,000 for a body double to be taken to the morgue. It is not the first time there have been theories that he may not have died.

Tupac's death is still a mystery

However, the mystery deepens as it later emerged one of the original websites to report Myers' extraordinary tale is using a fake image to represent the police officer on his deathbed, plunging the conspiracy theory into disrepute.
On September 7, 1996, Shakur was shot multiple times in a drive-by shooting at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Koval Lane in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He had been at the Mike Tyson vs Bruce Sheldon boxing match and been involved in a altercation with gang member Orlando "Baby Lane" Anderson.
A short while later, while en route to night club a car pulled up alongside Shakur's while he was standing with his head out of the sunroof and unknown occupants shot him, hitting him in the chest, pelvis, right hand, thigh and lung.

The shocking news he might still be alive comes just months after it was reported a film about his life was due to start filming.
Earlier this year producer Randall Emmett said: "The script is great and we're ready to make the movie, we're just prepping the logistics."
The movie - which has the rights to use the iconic rapper's music - will cover key areas of his life, leading up to his tragic death .
Emmett added: "I think our story, especially like a lot of biopics in the hip-hop space, will at least tease the beginning of his life, kind of tease his beginnings and kind of the people around him.
"Then go into the key years leading up to the pinnacle of his success - those three or four key years of his rise, and the empire he built.”
Tupac Shakur has sold over 75 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
Shakur was a vocal participant in the so-called East Coast–West Coast hip hop rivalry, becoming involved in conflicts with other rappers, producers and record-label staff members, most notably The Notorious B.I.G. and the label Bad Boy Records.

Just Imagine What Goodluck Jonathan Has Done To Himself

Money is good, everyone needs money, but the love of money is dangerous, it blinds your conscience:

Reading the Premium Times investigation report of how former president Goodluck Jonathan, oil goddess Diezani Alison Madueke, mogul Tunde Ayeni and Idahosa Wells setup a siphon to drain as much as 100 million dollars monthly via unnecessary and hyper-inflated ship lines, one has to conclude that the former Jonathan administration is the greatest thieving establishment in world history.

When we look at all the revelations as they keep pouring in...
of different set-ups used to loot our treasury, illegal oil sales, enabled and government official organised illegal oil lifting, brief-case marketers, fake and non-existant mobile podia, diversion of billions to procure arms while the administration confessed that it was unwilling or unable to buy them through its five years, and all other mechanisims of looting at all levels of the treasury, one can only conclude that Ali Baba with his forty thieves was a saint compared to Goodluck Jonathan.

Jonathan is a fraud; a master fraud. All his supporters are thieves. Those who wrote for him and campaigned for him are thieves or so blinded they should be barred from voting till they get therapy. The pastors and Imams who advocated for him must be banned from the pulpit, they are risks to society. The Femi's who keep writing for him are unrepentant thieves.

Jonathan is the worst president the world has ever known. I dare anyone to show of a greater thief in written world history. You cannot find one. Nigeria put a Lawrence Anini at it's helm of affairs. We must thank God that we survived to tell the tale.
