Gwen Stefani ended her marriage after catching her husband on the phone with one of his former gay lovers?

Gavin Rossdale used to experiment with men. He confessed this in an interview many years ago...but he said, ultimately, he preferred women so he put a stop to his gay activities. Now, Radar Online is claiming that the reason Gwen ended her 13 year marriage to him is because of an ex-gay lover. Below is how they are reporting it...
“I spoke to him a couple weeks ago, ” Marilyn, born Peter Robinson, told Radar in an exclusive interview. “He called me.”
According to Marilyn, Rossdale unleashed an emotional hour-long monologue about how his former lover was responsible for the breakdown of his marriage to Stefani.
Marilyn claimed he ranted about, “the way everything is my fault” in an conversation that quickly became heated. “Because I did an interview [about the affair] … and everything from then on is all my fault.”

“And I’m listening to all this. He said ‘You’re getting all worked up,’ and I said ‘Out of two of us, who’s the one screaming?’ He went on and on.”
But eventually, “He did calm down and caught himself,” Marilyn said.

Rossdale initially denied his affair with Marilyn when he first came forward in 2009, but the Bush frontman admitted two years later that the couple had shared a sexual relationship in the early 1980s. That inability to accept his past, according to the pop star, doomed his marriage to Stefani.
“Gwen wants him to be something he’s not, and he wants to be something he’s not,” said Marilyn. “That’s my interpretation.”
“I’m very sad for all parties involved, mostly the children.”

Cost of President Buhari's trip to the US grossly exaggerated - Presidency

Press statement from the presidency...
Our attention has been drawn to an editorial published in the Nigerian Pilot of August 2, 2015 and an earlier report in which the total cost of President Muhammadu Buhari's recent trip to the U.S. was estimated at N2.2 billion. It is very sad that in this age of free-flowing information and in this era of change, a media organisation would make itself available as a vehicle to peddle a lie of such low and ignominious quality.
Contrary to the newspaper's assertions, the total cost of the trip to the Nigerian taxpayer was at the most minimal, in line with the policy of this administration to cut waste and extravagance. In point of fact, the total amount expended on the trip by the Office of the Presidentamounted to nothing near ten per cent of the speculated figure.
Owing to the free accommodation provided by the host government, all the personal staff who accompanied the President on the trip received reduced allowances. His son, Yusuf, received neither allowances nor estacode. The five Governors on the trip each paid his own way. Permanent Secretaries who traveled on the delegation did so in accordance with extant rules and none of them exceeded their estacode entitlements. Apart from the Nigerian Pilot's mischievous mathematics, it is shortsighted and misleading of the newspaper to have claimed that President Buhari's trip to the U.S. achieved nothing. Nigerian-US relations had suffered severely over the past few years.
That relationship has now been reset. The benefits of this symbiotic relationship will become more and more evident as the Buhari administration continues to tackle the challenges of corruption, security and the economy. Some of the more immediate benefits of the President's trip to the U.S include: the proposed $2.1 billion fund from the World Bank for the re-development of the northeast battered by Boko Haram; $5 billion from US investors in Nigeria's agriculture sector; $1.5 billion investment in the Nigerian health sector; and another $5 billion investment from the U.S. in our country's power sector. Also, as things stand at the moment, the embargo on the sale of weapons sales to Nigeria is in the process of being removed.
The trip to the U.S by President Buhari was definitely very successful and beneficial to Nigeria. Only those rabidly determined to find faults unnecessarily will cook up falsehood in a futile effort to rake up murk where none exists. 12 year old calls 911 from closet during home invasion

A 12 year old Arizona boy hid in the closet as two men invaded his family’s home, a recently released 911 call reveals.
The boy, who was not identified, can be heard on the call telling the 911 operator to “Please get help,” as the suspected burglars kicked in the back door of his Scottsdale home on Monday.
“They're trying to break down the door right now…I can hear them,” the boy says on the call.
“I think they might be inside,” he says, also whispering that he is in a bedroom closet. “Please send help.”
The suspects first knocked on the door of the boy’s home Monday morning, but the 12-year-old did not answer.
The boy, who was home alone at the time, listened to the suspects rummage around his house for 15 minutes while the 911 operator stayed on the phone as his lifeline.
“Does it still sound like they’re in the bedroom with you,” the 911 operator asks.
“No, I think they’re in the kitchen right now,” the boy responds.
The scary situation turned even more terrifying when the boy came face-to-face with the suspects.
“Please don’t hurt me,” the boy says.
“Did they open the door,” the 911 operator asks.
“Yes, they’re running. They’re running ... they saw me. ... What do I do? What do I do?,” the boy replies.

By the time the suspects left the boy’s home, police had the home surrounded.

According to the Scottsdale Police Department, Robbie Jay Johnson Jr., 36, and Cole Austin Lewallen, 31, were arrested and charged with multiple felonies.

Investigators say both men have criminal records.

The boy was not hurt in the incident.

Lecturer rapes 18- year-old female seeking admission in Unilag

A part-time lecturer at the University of Lagos, Akoka, Afeez Baruwa, has been arrested by the police in Lagos for allegedly raping an 18-year-old girl, identified as Caroline (not her real name).

It was learnt that the victim, who was reportedly raped inside a study room, was seeking admission into the University.

Baruwa who was arrested by the Surulere Police Division on Monday, August 3 told the police in his statement that the sexual intercourse was by mutual consent, insisting that he did not rape the victim.

Caroline got to know the lecturer through her Dad because they both belonged to the same landlords’ association in the Abesan, Ipaja area.
It was gathered that the victim’s father had allowed her daughter to follow the lecturer on July 23, to UNILAG for an admission process.
According to reports, Baruwa allegedly took the girl inside one of the study halls, bolted the door, and raped her.
After the incident, Caroline, who told her parents about the rape, was taken to a non-governmental organisation, Mirabel Centre, where she was tested and the medical result reportedly confirmed that the teenager had been raped.

After the confirmation, Caroline was taken to the Lagos State Office of the Public Defender, where the matter was reported at the police station. Baruwa was subsequently arrested.

A police source in Surulere said:
“The suspect is actually a friend of the father of the girl. The girl had written the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, and she needed assistance with the post-UTME.
“So, the father sent her to meet and discuss with the lecturer.
“But, it turned out that on July 23 when the girl visited the suspect, he raped the girl in the study room.
“The suspect confessed to the act, but his claim is that the sex was by mutual consent.”
The Director of the Office of the Public Defender, Mrs. Omotola Rotimi, said the OPD would write a letter to the UNILAG Vice-Chancellor on the incident, so as to ensure that such did not happen again to anyone.
She said,
“The victim’s father wanted the lecturer to assist with his daughter’s admission. On the fateful day, the girl left with the lecturer as early as 5.30am, and they got to the school at about 7am.
“No one had arrived at the hall except a woman. While the exams had yet to start, he raped her. She went home, and the father found out that her daughter had been raped. He took her to the Mirabel Centre, which then informed the OPD.
“The centre also contacted the police at the Surulere and Isokoko divisions, and the suspect was arrested.
“We are going to defend the girl, and we are writing the VC. The suspect is said to be in the Department of Accounting. He claimed the sex was consensual, but that is not a defence.”
Baruwa, who is currently in custody, will be charged to court on today, Thursday, Aug 6th.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Patricia Amadin, confirmed the arrest.
She said:
“The suspect claims to be a part-time lecturer, but not an employee of the University of Lagos.
“He has confessed to the crime and the medical result proved same.”
