Patience Jonathan, who was assassinated on June 26th by unknown assailants (read here).
His killers have not been caught. His
funeral is for 17th and 18th of this month. May his soul rest in peace.

Buhari reportedly moves to pacify Tinubu - Ex-Governor to get more Ministerial nominees
"Sources close to the APC confirmed to the Nigerian Tribune that the presidency had discovered lately that Tinubu was angry and had been putting some measures in place to pacify the national leader of APC.
Tinubu’s camp was said to have been angered by Buhari’s failure to back its strategies that would have ensured the emergence of candidates of the party for the positions of Senate president and Speaker of the House of Representatives.
It was learnt that Tinubu was particularly angry that Buhari did not make good his promise to address APC legislators at the International Conference Centre on June 9, leading to the emergence of Senator Bukola Saraki as Senate president.
It was also gathered that Tinubu’s loyalists fingered Buhari’s men in the uprising that shut out the former Lagos governor from the last National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the party, held in Abuja, last week.
Though Tinubu is not a member of NEC statutorily, no one really made an issue out of that until Buhari assumed office.
Some Tinubu loyalists said they suspected the presidency might have given tactical backing to the group of former governors, who threatened to storm the meeting if Tinubu was allowed at the venue.
It was, however, gathered on Thursday in Abuja that Buhari had resolved to pacify Tinubu, so that the party would not break up under his watch.
A source said the presidency was considering giving Tinubu four ministerial slots, to compensate for the loss of speaker and Senate president.
But sources in the party said that there are some hardliners who were of the view that Buhari could continue to call Tinubu’s bluff, having assumed the position of party leader.

Iyaloja of Ijebu Ode Assassinated
The Iyaloja of Ijebuland, Alhaja Sadia Elewuju was on Wednesday assassinated by unknown gunmen at her residence in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
PM News reports:
The 82-year old was besieged by six men who stormed her residence, a bungalow at about 3:00 pm yesterday.The gunmen macheted their victim, cutting her recklessly. She reportedly died on her way to the hospital.According to a source in Ijebu Ode, the outspoken Iyaloja was a very influential person who stood her ground on any matter. “She is always very vocal and fierce in her position on any matter. She has championed many causes for women especially the market women.The source added that: “She’s very popular in political circles. The house she lived in was given to her by the former Ogun state governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel.”Elewuju was installed as Iyaloja of Ijebu Ode by the Awujale of Ijebu Ode, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona.
R. Kelly sued by his older brother for not paying his salary
"R Kelly worked his brother to the bone -- 144 hours/week according to Bruce Kelly ... who says he never got a dime, so now he's blowing the whistle on the singer with the State of Illinois. Bruce says his younger bro hired him in March as a personal assistant and driver, and they had a verbal agreement -- for $700 a week, Bruce would do food runs and chauffeur R. Kelly. But the brotherly love faded after Bruce started working overtime without seeing any green.
According to docs filed with the state labor board, Bruce says he sometimes had to wait up to 12 hours in the car for R. Kelly … and never got any sleep.
He tells us he even spoke to R. Kelly about the $11k in back pay he claims he was owed ... but baby bro didn't care. Bruce says he put his foot down after 3 months because he's "not working for nobody, not even his brother, for free."
The labor board is still investigating his claim. We reached out to R. Kelly's reps, but no one's gotten back to us.Fun Fact: This isn't the first brother R. Kelly has thrown under the bus. Back in 2008 R Kelly claimed it was his brother Carey, not him, in a video having sex with an underage girl
